Overview
Published by APN Educational Media under contract for the 11th consecutive year, New Zealand Education Gazette is the official Ministry of Education’s title. It carries all official notices, school vacancies and news stories relevant to the school market and early childhood education. Additional to the free school vacancies and notices, the Gazette also accepts paid recruitment, professional development, notices and display advertising for all matters relating to the school and early childhood education sectors. All free listings appear on the Education Gazette website.

Readership
The New Zealand Education Gazette is delivered free to all public and private primary, intermediate and secondary schools in New Zealand, as well as early childhood centres, kindergartens, kohanga reo, tertiary institutions and ministry agencies. People interested in education news or who are looking for teaching positions may take individual paid subscriptions to the Gazette.

Distribution
Over 18,700 copies are printed fortnightly. The ratio of copies per school and early childhood education centres is calculated on the number of teachers (one Gazette for every six teachers).
